Talk on Sanitaryware | Jaquar Group | Department of Interior Design

We at JD work towards providing our students with the best hands-on experience in their respective backgrounds so that they’re prepared to step into the industry. To take forward this ideology, JD Institute of Fashion Technology collaborated with JAQUAR GROUP, a brand with international presence in sanitaryware. The team from JAQUAR guided our future interior designers on to how to pick sanitaryware and about the various changes in the industry over the past decade.

Over the years, JAQUAR GROUP has been a game changer in the industry as people now seek newer products to enhance their bathrooms and make it an experience to take a shower. JAQUAR is known worldwide for being a one shop stop for complete bathroom solutions.

Our Diploma in Interior Design students was briefed on how to make a bathroom more aesthetically, technically and experientially more appealing without compromising on the quality.

A highlight of this session was an invite by the team to visit their orientation centre which is their exclusive centre which provides demo models of their products such as showers, faucets, freestanding bathtubs etc. This would provide the students with a hand on the opportunity of understanding the functionality of the products.

The talk concluded with a display of some of their best products and an interactive question and answer session amongst the students and the team. This seminar left our interior design course students with new enthusiasm for understanding the design process and to be able to implement it in their work and portfolio.
