Nomadic Hyper-utilitarian is a collection crafted for the millennial generation, who are known for being adventurous and choosing to be homeless wanderlust travellers. The people of this generation are mostly backpackers and hitchhikers who like to travel with minimum luggage. Understanding the need of this “homeless” group of people, the designers were prompted to create multi-utilitarian jackets made from recycled polyester. The maximal yet trampy jackets come with detachable helmets, sleeping bags, back rest, storage facilities for gadgets and many other features. The embroidery on the jackets are inspired by the colouring books used in art therapy for drug addicts titled “Topography of Tears” comprising of photographs by Rose-Lynn Fisher. The collection titled is presented by Anisha Bhat, Nandhini R, Pragya Bothra & Guhana Gunashekaran from July Diploma Batch.
