Learning the art of Capturing: Jediiians at Nikon Training Centre Bangalore
JD Institute of Fashion Technology has been a staunch believer in acknowledging industry counterparts for their extensive industry knowledge pool.
Recently, the photography course students of JD Institute underwent photography training about the technical aspects at the Nikon Training Centre Bangalore. The students of Diploma in Photography not only go through rigorous classroom training but are also part of these workshops and seminars as a part of their curriculum to master their skills of capturing. The idea behind these workshops is just not to give a technical eye but also to enhance the inner creativity of the Jediiians. One of the core strength of JD Institute is the extensive industry connections and partnerships. We have giant brands like Nikon and Sony conducting workshops for our students.
Nikon is one the pioneers in the world of optics and imaging products. The company is known for its different range of camera and lenses. Mr Sridaran Karthik, a digital artist and a technical officer at Nikon addressed our students on the basic concepts of Digital Photography.
Jediiians have imparted knowledge on the aspects of the portrait, landscape framing and still life photography, but it is our aim to make them understand the technical and visual aspects as well to become a successful image-maker. The workshop was an ultimate guide for our students as they were introduced to the skills, techniques, and processes of photography. It gave them a fair understanding of digital photography, camera operations, and handling techniques. With the help of this workshop now our Photography course students can easily identify aperture, camera settings and can frame the picture accordingly. The seminar was quite informative and helpful for our students to see what the industry demands.
