Ecoscent is an urban high street menswear collection majorly focusing on how sustainability can be incorporated into fashion. To achieve this goal, the designers have used natural fibers like banana and bamboo, which are easily grown without the use of harmful fertilizers, processed without use of any harmful chemicals or too much wastage of water. The properties of these yarns are equal to that of cotton and in addition, they are antifungal and antibacterial. Keeping the same concept in mind, natural dyes were used to create beautiful patterns when the fabric was weaved.  The designers also sourced their raw materials from small scale industries, abiding to the ethical norms. The collection is tailor made and suitable for any self-made man. It is presented by Deepa Samajpathi, Prashanti Rai, Nishchita S, Reshma Prakash and Mahalakshmi B from the October Diploma and Jayanagar Diploma Batch.
